Mobile World Congress 2018

Mobile World Congress, the world’s largest gathering of executives and innovative companies from across the mobile ecosystem, is just days away. This year’s event theme is focused on ‘creating a better future’. Here is a quick summary of how WeDo is creating a better future for the mobile industry and what we will showcase at MWC 2018:

REASON 1 -  New capabilities to enable Faster Fraud Detection
Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning technologies will be the cornerstone to enabling operators to detect fraud faster and more efficiently, as well as identify and target more complex risks. We have made significant investments on new capabilities, such as AI-powered adaptive thresholds and advanced case resolution, which will be critical to managing the multitude of risks that will be the new normal with 5G.

REASON 2 -  Greater flexibility to meet the demands of tomorrow, today!
WeDo Technologies enables operators to address today’s fraudulent activity faster, with more flexibility, and with the latest advancements in detection methods.  By leveraging the cloud, WeDo’s RAID.Cloud saves integration time and reduces costs with its self-service and user friendly, on-the-spot onboarding process. It is supported by the development of several cutting-edge detection applications, providing digital profiling, customer experience and crowdsourced service assurance analytics to enable operators to address today’s top fraudulent activities, including roaming, bypass and IRSF fraud.

REASON 3 - Deeper Analytics to Improve Risk Management
Leverage social and behavioral analytics to derive meaningful insights and analysis in order to prevent revenue leakage and detect fraud. Deploy an integrated approach to security and fraud management, so when security is breached, the fraud management system will follow its path and identify patterns that reveal hidden relationships and suspicious movements, to minimize any potential damage. Bridge the gap between security and fraud with Integrated Risk Management using policy control applications.

REASON 4 - Assurance for the Digital Transformation
While there is a lot of talk about all the new business and revenue opportunities this digital transformation will create, at the same time it is also creating a lot of uncertainty and complexity. The ‘risk universe’ for communication operators is changing – and growing rapidly. During the event you can see how WeDo is at the cutting edge of this arena, by providing the software “probes” that will monitor risk during this digital transformation.

REASON 5 - Visit us @ Hall 7, G10 and let us shake things up on how you can interact in our booth.
While the event is busy, be sure to allow some time for fun. This year we will have a number of interactive apps for visitors to try when they stop by our booth. Take a selfie in our photo booth and see the different fraud types appear as a filter in your photo. Take the snap and share the photo with your friends on Facebook and Instagram. Or scan the codes at our booth to chat directly with a WeDo expert via Facebook Messenger. Request information about our software, view our videos, download a whitepaper or schedule a demo, all without leaving Facebook Messenger.  Don’t miss our Happy Hour at 5pm on Tuesday and Wednesday at our booth, where Portuguese taste bites, including custard tarts, port wine and cocktails featuring Licor Beirão and Amarguinha will be on the menu.

We look forward to seeing you at #WeDoMWC18
